It's in the eye of the beholder.

This morning I asked Chris to do this...

Chris shoveling snow on April 16th

So that Mary could do this...

Mary embarrassed I'm taking her picture

We discussed how we couldn't believe it snowed again, when we've had several tastes of spring - enough to stow away winter things until next year.

This snow will be gone as quickly as it came.  We'll likely be in the yard this weekend working on beds - seriously.  This snow doesn't bother me.  It's too beautiful.

Then again, I'm in the house drinking coffee in my pajamas, with my hair sticking out like Witchiepoo's from H. R. Pufnstuf, while Toddler Child occasionally asks, "Can I touch you ear?" [Ear fondler, remember?]  I'm not shoveling it or peeing in it.

It's still beautiful from my perspective.

WOW! We had rain for two days which once and a while turned to snow flakes.

That is nice of you to think of Mary and her needs.

By the way...I just heard from Bobbi and My Little Pony has arrived!

Can I touch your Witchiepoo hair?

Beautiful photos.

Wow that is a LOT of snow. I forgot - you live in Utah don't you? I would love to see a picture this weekend if all does melt that quickly! You have a great yard and view! Neat-0. I'm in Jersey and it's in the 60s today, and should hit the 70s this weekend - yahoo!

lucky.... I wish I was in my pj's with coffee and a toddler touching my ear. Instead I spent the afternoon trying in vain to get 20 nine year olds to be quiet for just one blasted minute... I failed....

But the snow WAS beautiful.. like a fairyland. And tomorrow's a new day.. :)

That is sooooo beautiful. I miss snow, snow much (see what I did there...too far?)!! I just want to roll in (preferably where Mary has not peed in it...)

Connie - I saw the pictures of Heather's "son" on Twitter. Very cool!

Cheri - You can touch my Witchiepoo hair anytime you want. Although, you're probably spoiled with katydidnot's perfect ponytail.

Sherri - Everyone has a pretty view in Utah. The mountains are gorgeous, and they're in every direction. Glad you're enjoying nice temps!

Christy - Yes, we're in Utah. It's 5:30 p.m. and most of the snow has melted. Not kidding.

Pam - I thought of you this morning when I wrote this post... how it would be "not pretty" for a teacher to be cooped up with kids all day due to weather. Tomorrow IS another day, and I hope your's is peaceful. :)

Deidre - No, not too far, but it took my slow brain a couple of times to read it before I got it.

Anastasia - Thanks. Chris is okay. ;)

Mrs. D. - Thank you!

You have GOT to be kidding me. I'm officially going to stop complaining about the slight drizzle and windiness here in Vegas.

I didn't mind it at all either. Unlike the last snowy place I lived, the snow melts here. Those are stunning pictures.

I always think snow is beautiful at first. But once it gets brown and slushy I want it to magically disappear. No more snow in DC please!

Does it hurt when I say that I was in LA over the weekend and it was a toasty 93 degrees AND that I got a tan?

LOL!

Poor little pooch crying out for "a little privacy please?!"

Gorgeous place you have. Wish we had a nice snowy winter, or in this case, spring.
